Privacy Policy

RyuPy develops mobile applications — including File Manager One, Motion Watch, NFC Emulate, TeleSMS, AdMoola, and Shadow Master — designed to be practical, efficient tools that respect your privacy. This policy applies to all applications and services published by RyuPy. We collect only what is necessary for each app to function. All RyuPy apps include Google AdMob advertising; full details are in the Advertising section below.

Advertising — Google AdMob (All Apps)

All RyuPy applications display advertisements served by Google AdMob (Google LLC). When ads are displayed, AdMob may collect and process:

• Advertising ID (GAID/AAID) — Your Android device's resettable advertising identifier
• Device information — Device model, OS version, screen size, language, and time zone
• IP address — Used to determine approximate geographic location for ad targeting
• Ad interaction data — Impressions, clicks, and engagement events

This data is processed by Google LLC under Google's Privacy Policy. RyuPy does not have direct access to AdMob's collected data.

You can reset or opt out of personalised advertising at any time via Android Settings > Google > Ads > Reset Advertising ID.

GDPR / UK GDPR — Consent for European Users

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom, or Switzerland, our apps display a consent form powered by Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) before any advertising data is collected.

• You may accept or decline personalised advertising
• If you decline, limited non-personalised ads may still be shown
• Right to withdraw consent (GDPR Article 7(3)) — Change your choice at any time via Settings > Privacy > Ad Preferences within the app

Users outside EEA / UK / Switzerland are not shown the consent form; standard personalised advertising applies.

File Manager One — File Manager, Cloud & Remote Storage

• File system access — Requires broad storage permission ("All files access") to work as a file manager. Files are read, written, moved and deleted only as you direct, stay on your device, and are never uploaded to RyuPy servers. RyuPy operates no servers for this app.
• Cloud connections (optional) — Google Drive, Dropbox, MEGA, OneDrive, Mail.ru Cloud, Yandex Disk, Nextcloud, ownCloud, pCloud, Seafile, Koofr, HiDrive, OpenDrive, WebDAV and S3-compatible storage. You choose whether to connect any account; none is required to use the app.
• Google Drive — Sign-in uses Google's own account picker on your device. The app requests access to your Google Drive files (scope https://www.googleapis.com/auth/drive) solely to show, open, stream, download, upload, copy, move, rename and delete the files you choose inside the app. Your name and e-mail address (Google profile scopes) are used only to label the connected account on your device. Drive data travels only between your device and Google; it is never sent to RyuPy or any third party, never used for advertising, and never used to train AI or machine-learning models. You can disconnect at any time by removing the account in the app, or by revoking access at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
• Google API Services — Limited Use — File Manager One's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
• Dropbox and other OAuth providers — Sign-in happens on the provider's own website (OAuth 2.0 with PKCE). RyuPy never sees your password. The access token is stored only on your device and sent only to that provider. Access is used only to manage the files you choose.
• Mail.ru Cloud — You sign in with your Mail.ru e-mail and an app password created in your Mail.ru account. The app password is exchanged directly with Mail.ru for an access token, which is stored only on your device; RyuPy never receives either.
• MEGA — You sign in with your MEGA e-mail and password inside the app. Your password never leaves the device: only a key derived from it is sent to MEGA, and files are encrypted and decrypted on your device (MEGA's end-to-end encryption). The resulting session key is kept in Android's encrypted storage (Keystore) on your device only.
• Cloud file access — Cloud files you open are streamed or downloaded to a private cache on your device. File contents and names are never sent to RyuPy. Removing an account deletes its stored credentials.
• Remote / network connections (optional) — FTP, FTPS, SFTP / SSH, SMB, WebDAV and S3-compatible storage. Addresses, usernames, passwords and SSH keys you enter are stored only on your device. Connections go directly from your device to your server; no traffic passes through RyuPy.
• Installing apps (optional) — When you choose to install an APK / XAPK / APKS / APKM file, the app uses Android's package installer, which asks for your confirmation. "Install unknown apps" permission is requested only then.
• Apps screen — Lists the apps installed on your device (package visibility) so you can open, back up, share or uninstall them. With your optional "Usage access" permission it also shows each app's real storage size. This information stays on your device and is never transmitted.
• Sharing and "Open with" — Files are handed to the app you pick using Android's secure file sharing (content URIs with temporary read access). Nothing is sent anywhere you did not choose.
• Search and recent files — Searching and the recent-files list scan your storage on the device itself. Nothing is indexed or transmitted off the device.
• Media casting (optional) — To play a video or song on a TV (DLNA or Chromecast) on your local network, the app serves that one file over your Wi-Fi to the TV you choose, only while casting.
• Local file server (optional) — The app can host a temporary FTP or HTTP server on your local Wi-Fi so other devices can reach your files. It runs only while you enable it and is reachable only from your local network.
• Bluetooth file transfer — Direct device-to-device transfers. Android requires Location permission for Bluetooth scanning; it is not used for GPS tracking.
• Biometric authentication — Fingerprint or face unlock may protect folders. Biometric data is processed entirely by Android; RyuPy never receives it.
• AdMob — Advertisements are displayed. See the Advertising section above.

Motion Watch — Motion Detection & Security Camera

• Camera & Microphone — Continuously monitors a video feed for motion events. Camera and microphone access is active only while a monitoring session is running.
• Motion detection — All image processing for motion detection is performed entirely on-device.
• Local recordings — Video clips and images triggered by motion are saved to your device's local storage.
• Google Drive backup (optional) — If enabled, recordings are uploaded to your own Google Drive account. Authentication uses Google Sign-In; your Google credentials are never seen or stored by RyuPy.
• FTP backup (optional) — FTP server credentials you configure are stored locally on your device using encrypted local storage.
• Firebase Analytics — Anonymous usage events may be collected.
• AdMob — Advertisements are displayed. See Advertising section above.

NFC Emulate — NFC Card Wallet

• NFC hardware — Reads and emulates NFC access cards (building passes, gym cards, office badges, parking systems).
• Card data stored locally — Card UID, technologies, and profile names are stored in a local SQLite database on your device only. RyuPy has no access to this data.
• Shake gesture — Accelerometer is used to detect a shake for quick card emulation. No motion data is stored or transmitted.
• Card sharing — Card profiles can be shared between devices via Android's share system, only when you explicitly initiate it.
• In-app updates — Google Play In-App Update API is used to deliver mandatory compliance and security updates.
• AdMob — Banner and native advertisements are displayed. See Advertising section above.

TeleSMS — SMS Manager & Telegram Bridge

• SMS / MMS — Reads, sends, receives, and manages messages. All message data stays on your device only.
• Contacts — Accesses your contact list to identify senders and select recipients. Contact data is never uploaded to any server.
• Telegram forwarding (optional) — If you enable this feature, selected SMS messages are forwarded to your Telegram account via the Telegram Bot API. You control which messages are forwarded and can disable this at any time. Forwarded messages are subject to Telegram's Privacy Policy.
• Background service — A background service monitors incoming messages and can start on device boot if enabled. No additional data is collected by this service.
• Notifications — Local notifications for incoming messages are generated on-device.
• Firebase Analytics — Anonymous usage events may be collected.
• AdMob — Advertisements are displayed. See Advertising section above.

AdMoola — AdMob & AdSense Earnings Dashboard

• Google Sign-In & API Scopes — Used to authenticate with your Google account. AdMoola requests these OAuth scopes: admob.readonly, admob.report, adsense.readonly. Read-only — cannot modify your accounts. Your Google credentials are handled entirely by Google; RyuPy never sees your password.
• Earnings data — Revenue statistics are fetched from APIs and displayed in-app. Not stored on RyuPy servers.
• CSV export — Earnings data can be exported as CSV to your device.
• No data shared — Your credentials and earnings data are never shared with RyuPy or any third party beyond the Google APIs.
• AdMob — AdMoola itself also displays advertisements. See Advertising section above.

Shadow Master — Language Learning & Shadowing

• No account required — Shadow Master has no sign-up, no login, and no user accounts. RyuPy holds no personal information about you whatsoever.
• Microphone (Echo Shadowing) — Used only while you are actively recording a practice attempt. Recordings are written to temporary storage on your device, played back for your own comparison, and overwritten by your next attempt. Your voice recordings are never uploaded, transmitted, or shared with RyuPy or anyone else — they never leave your device.
• YouTube video playback — Videos are searched and played through YouTube's own embedded player. Your use of YouTube content is subject to Google's Privacy Policy and the YouTube Terms of Service. Shadow Master does not download or store YouTube video or audio.
• Captions & learning content — Video captions are fetched to power the karaoke transcript, dictation, and shadowing features. Dictionary definitions, translations, and example sentences are fetched from public third-party services as you look up words.
• Your learning data stays local — Saved vocabulary, review progress, bookmarks, playback position, daily goals, and all settings are stored only on your device. You can erase all of it at any time via Settings → Reset settings, or by uninstalling the app.
• Backup & restore (optional) — You may export your own data to a file on your device and re-import it later. These files are created and read only by you; RyuPy never receives them.
• Clipboard (optional) — If enabled, the app checks the clipboard for a YouTube link to offer as a shortcut. Clipboard contents are examined on-device only and are never transmitted.
• Text-to-speech — Pronunciation playback uses your device's built-in text-to-speech engine.
• In-app updates — Google Play In-App Update API is used to deliver compliance and security updates.
• AdMob — Interstitial and native advertisements are displayed. See Advertising section above.

Third-Party Services Summary

Your Rights (GDPR / UK GDPR)

If you are in the EEA or UK, you have the following rights under the General Data Protection Regulation:

• Right of Access (Article 15) — You have the right to request a copy of any personal data we hold about you.
• Right to Rectification (Article 16) — You may request correction of any inaccurate personal data.
• Right to Erasure (Article 17) — You may request deletion of your personal data where there is no compelling reason for its continued processing.
• Right to Restriction of Processing (Article 18) — You may request that we restrict the processing of your personal data in certain circumstances.
• Right to Data Portability (Article 20) — You have the right to receive your personal data in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format.
• Right to Withdraw Consent (Article 7(3)) — Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.
• Right to Object (Article 21) — You have the right to object to the processing of your personal data for direct marketing purposes or where processing is based on legitimate interests.

Since most data collected by RyuPy apps is stored locally on your device, exercising these rights is often as simple as clearing app data or uninstalling the application. For data collected by Google AdMob, you can manage your preferences through Google's privacy controls at myaccount.google.com/privacy.

Data Retention

• Local app data — Retained on your device until you delete it or uninstall the application.
• AdMob data — Retained by Google in accordance with Google's data retention policies.
• Firebase Analytics — Event data is retained for up to 14 months per Google's default settings.
• Telegram messages — Forwarded messages are subject to Telegram's own data retention policies.

Children's Privacy

RyuPy applications and services are not directed at children under the age of 13 (or 16 in the European Economic Area). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.

What We Do Not Do

• We do not sell your personal data
• We do not build personal profiles or track you across apps or websites
• We do not store personal data on RyuPy-owned servers
• We do not require account creation
• We do not access your camera or microphone except when explicitly required by app functionality (Motion Watch)

Website Privacy (ryupy.com)

• Google AdSense Advertising — ryupy.com displays advertisements served by Google AdSense. Google uses cookies, including the DoubleClick cookie, to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. See the Website Advertising section below for full details.
• Cookies — ryupy.com uses essential cookies required for site functionality and advertising cookies placed by Google AdSense for ad personalisation.
• Third-Party Advertising — Google AdSense is the sole third-party advertising provider on ryupy.com.
• Server logs — Our web server automatically records IP addresses, pages visited, browser type, and timestamps. These logs are used for diagnostics and security only and are not linked to individual identities.
• Analytics — We use privacy-focused analytics limited to country-level aggregated data. No individual user tracking is performed.
• Contact form — If you use the contact form, your name, email address, and message are used solely to respond to your inquiry and are not shared with third parties.

Website Advertising — Google AdSense

ryupy.com participates in the Google AdSense advertising program. Google AdSense uses the DoubleClick cookie to serve ads based on your visits to ryupy.com and other sites on the internet. The DoubleClick cookie does not collect personally identifiable information.

You may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. Alternatively, you can opt out of third-party cookies for advertising by visiting aboutads.info/choices.
